While the IND is supported by a combination of public and private funding, government money is not available for two of its most dynamic activities:
- Promising research at its earliest stages
- Events that foster collaboration by bringing diverse scientists together
Many projects based on innovative theories are untested and too cutting-edge to qualify for traditional funding sources. Yet, from these projects often come the most groundbreaking discoveries. Collaborative activities foster interaction among experts from various disciplines—interactions that frequently result in the most fundamental advances.
Individual support will catalyze the discovery of cures for neurodegenerative diseases. We welcome your investment in the IND's future breakthroughs. A gift may take several forms:
OUTRIGHT GIFTS
You may make a current commitment to the IND and fund
it with cash, securities, real estate or other assets.
PLEDGES
You may pledge an amount and arrange to fulfill it in
installments over the course of one or more years.
PLANNED GIFTS
You may create a life-income plan such as a charitable
trust or gift annuity that will provide you with income for life and
then benefit the IND.
BEQUESTS
You may provide for the IND in your will or living trust,
and thus assure a legacy that lasts beyond your lifetime.
MATCHING GIFTS
You may leverage your own giving if your employer
offers a gift-matching program. You would be credited for the total
amount, and your employer would also receive recognition.
We can work with you to create the arrangements that best meet your
financial needs and carry out your philanthropic intentions.
